Get to know me

Hello! I've had a passion for programming since my school days, where I excelled in languages like C++ and Java. However, when I ended up in a Biotechnology course in college, I felt a bit unprepared, having only studied computer science during the last two years of high school and not biology.

Despite feeling like my foundation wasn’t strong, I managed to catch up, grasp the fundamental concepts, and eventually graduated. This led me to a job at an informatics company that provided services to pharmaceutical companies, marking my entry into the world of clinical trials, statistical programming, and eventually, bioinformatics. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing—I've enjoyed every step of this journey.

Right now, I’m in a phase of learning and growing within the field of bioinformatics. While there’s an abundance of freely available resources, I often found myself overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information and the rapidly evolving nature of the field.

I’m taking it one step at a time, figuring things out as I go. This blog is my space to document my journey, reflect on my experiences, and hopefully, serve as a reference for others navigating a similar path.

My vision

The goal of this blog is simple: to create a space where I can document my learnings, discoveries, and experiences as I navigate the fascinating world of bioinformatics. Bioinformatics is a constantly evolving field, and as I continue to learn and grow, I want to share that journey with you.

Through this blog, I hope to not only track my own progress but also provide insights, resources, and tips that might be helpful for others who are on a similar path. Whether you're just starting out in bioinformatics, a fellow learner, or someone curious about the intersection of biology and technology, I hope this space can be a helpful reference for you.

I’m excited to share what I’m learning, and I appreciate you being a part of this journey with me!
